Brie Levy is a physical therapist at Sensible Wellness Physical Therapy. Her treatment style is routed on patient-centered care, using the best available evidence, and open communication to achieve goals that are meaningful to her patients. A Florida native, Dr. Levy graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2013 and went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Mercer University in 2016, where she is currently an Orthopaedic Resident. While at Florida State University, Dr. Levy was a member of The Seminole Dance Force, a competitive college dance team. She also loves to sing and play guitar and piano. Her interests in the field of Physical Therapy are diverse, including orthopedics, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, neurologic rehabilitation, and dance medicine.
Herb Silver is the senior clinician for Sensible Wellness Physical Therapy and has practiced since 1986. A board certified clinical specialist in orthopedics and electrophysiology, his post-graduate sports physical therapy training was in Columbus, Georgia on the internationally recognized Hughston Orthopedic Clinic Campus. In Columbus, Dr. Silver trained with Tom Boers, PT who is well known for his work with PGA golfers and other professional athletics. Dr. Silver specializes in the evaluation and treatment of complicated neck and back pain as well as general orthopedic and sports related injuries. Working in Atlanta since 1990, he has developed several outpatient physical therapy practices.
Dr. Silver has served on faculty at Georgia State University and North Georgia College teaching orthopedics, physical therapy interventions, electrotherapy, and electrophysiology. His postgraduate lecture topics include dry needling, orthopedic manual therapy interventions for the neck and low back and electrophysiology. He is presently an adjunct clinical associate professor at Mercer University and is presently involved in research with the Mercer Pharmacy department.
